Steele Wasel – The Rising Football Star Making Waves in 2024
Steele Wasel at the University of Akron - A Season of Development Steele Wasel's first season at Akron in 2023 was primarily spent learning and growing as a quarterback. Redshirting allowed him to refine his skills, adjust to the college football environment, and learn from experienced coaches and teammates. While he didn’t see game action during his redshirt year, this time was crucial for his development, giving him the opportunity to adapt physically and mentally to the rigors of college football. Despite his success in high school, Wasel wasn’t immediately thrust into action at the college level. Instead, he redshirted during his first season at the University of Akron in 2023, giving him time to develop further before taking the field.
