With heavy hearts, the community of Fairfax, Iowa, mourns the loss of Jeremy J. Hynek, who passed away on May 4th, 2025, at the age of 50.
Jeremy’s untimely passing has left a void in the lives of his family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Karena J. Hynek, and is survived by his parents, Steve Larry and Katrena Marie Hynek, as well as his sons, Dalton and Davin Hynek. Jeremy’s brother, Keith Hynek, along with his nieces and nephews, also mourn his passing.
Jeremy’s family has expressed their gratitude for the support they’ve received during this difficult time. "Jeremy was the kind of person who lit up the room with his presence. His love for his family and friends will never be forgotten," shared one family member on social media.
A celebration of life for Jeremy will take place on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 216 Main St, Fairfax, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family.
