Preston Angus, a bright and driven 17-year-old track athlete from Heritage Christian School, tragically passed away after a serious car accident on April 25, 2025.
The accident occurred at the intersection of State Road 32 and Hamilton Boone County Line Road in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resulted in Preston being rushed to a local hospital for emergency care.
Preston, who had recently set a personal record in the 5000 meters at the FlashRock Invitational, was a promising student and athlete. He was preparing to begin his college journey at Miami University in the fall, where he planned to study Psychology and Entrepreneurship.
His parents, Steve and Brandy Angus, along with his sister, Kayla, were by his side during this heartbreaking time. The community has expressed an outpouring of love and support for the family, with many sharing heartfelt messages of sympathy on social media.
Classmates and friends remember Preston for his kindness, intelligence, and dedication to both his academics and athletics. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
