Thanshawn Recordo Howard, a beloved godfather and resident of Wilmington, North Carolina, tragically passed away on May 2, 2025, following a devastating vehicle crash on N.C. 210. He was 50 years old.
Howard was a passenger in a car driven by Donald James Bowling Jr., 31, when the accident occurred. The crash took place at approximately 1:48 p.m. as Bowling attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-pass zone. The car veered off the road, struck a culvert, became airborne, and ultimately collided with a tree before coming to rest in a ditch.
