Tierra Haywood, a 31-year-old resident of Las Vegas, tragically lost their life in a devastating vehicle accident near Laughlin on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The crash occurred just before 3:30 p.m. along SR163, when a Dodge Durango veered off the road and overturned.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, providing life-saving measures to the occupants of the vehicle, which included several children. Unfortunately, Tierra was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, identified as Thomas Bernoudy, was transported to the hospital along with other survivors, but their conditions remain unknown. A preliminary investigation revealed signs of impairment, with toxicology results showing traces of marijuana in Bernoudy’s system.
Tierra’s passing has left family and friends devastated. Online tributes have poured in, with many expressing their sorrow and support for Tierra’s loved ones during this challenging time. A Facebook user, Sarah Walker, wrote, "Tierra, you will always be remembered. My heart goes out to your family."
