William Taylor Strock, Loving Son and Devoted Friend, Dies at 33 in Orangeburg, SC

William Taylor Strock, 33, of Orangeburg, SC, tragically passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Known for his infectious love for life, Taylor touched the hearts of all who knew him, leaving a lasting impact on his friends, family, and community.

Born on December 20, 1991, in Orangeburg, Taylor was the beloved son of Cynthia “Cindy” Croft and Johnny Williams and the late Lawrence W. Strock, Jr. Taylor was deeply connected to his faith and his family. His strong love for God and his genuine kindness made him a friend to everyone he met.

Taylor’s family fondly remembers his unique interests, including his passion for Clemson University, where he was an avid fan. His love for fun moments, like cozy bonfires at Folly Beach, was a testament to his joyful spirit.

A special bond with his best friend, Matt Lovern, brought Taylor immense joy. His family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Hopebridge and Jordan Transportation for their unwavering support during his journey.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Neeses, SC, with burial to follow at Springfield Cemetery.
