Huntingdon Community Mourns Abigail Henney, 23, After Saturday Motorcycle Crash At Penn Street And 7th Street
Abigail Henney, 23, of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, died Monday afternoon, May 18, 2026, after a motorcycle crash around 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Abigail rode as a passenger when the motorcycle struck the side of a BMW at Penn Street and 7th Street in Huntingdon Borough.
Emergency crews airlifted Abigail and the motorcycle operator to Conemaugh Hospital, where medical teams treated Abigail in the Intensive Care Unit for a traumatic brain injury.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees confirmed Abigail Henney’s passing after doctors worked to save Abigail’s life.
Reports stated that Abigail wore a helmet at the time of the crash, and officials continue to review the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The Huntingdon community now grieves the loss of a young resident remembered as a daughter, friend, and valued presence in the lives of many.
Memorial service details and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
