Joshua Sumpter, of Cloverdale, California, died on May 1, 2026, at the age of 33.
Joshua was born on October 22, 1992, and leaves a lasting memory with family, friends, and the Cloverdale community.
Loved ones include spouse Erica Sumpter Oberg, parents Shawn and Brian, sibling Sarah Sumpter, grandparents Yvonne Williams, Nellie Rochioli Sumpter, Richard Dick Williams, and Charles Sumpter, along with extended family and friend John Berry.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 491 S Franklin St, Cloverdale, CA 95425.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Eggen & Lance Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks people to support the American Cancer Society Boston Hope Lodge, where Joshua and Erica stayed during treatment in 2023.
