Kurt Paulus Remembered After June 12, 2026 Report On Fatal Small Plane Crash In Harrison Township
Kurt Paulus, 76, died Thursday morning after a 2006 Cirrus SR-20 single-engine aircraft went down shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft entered a residential area just before 11:00 a.m. and struck a home on the south side of Bennett School House Road in Harrison Township.
Emergency crews arrived within minutes, and authorities pronounced Paulus at the scene.
Two people inside the home escaped without injury, though the residence sustained total damage after a major blaze.
The Minford Fire Department, Scioto County Emergency Management Agency, state troopers, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the National Transportation Safety Board responded as officials began reviewing what happened.
