Family members shared that Legend began feeling unwell on April 24, 2026, while riding a bike with a close friend in Pauoa Valley.
Emergency responders transported Legend to Kuakini Hospital before transferring to Kapiolani Medical Center, where Legend later passed away.
Legend had been living with a heart condition known as Long QT, which the family discovered in 2023 and carefully managed with ongoing support and monitoring.
Despite this challenge, Legend embraced life fully, enjoying baseball, surfing, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
