Nathan Phillips tragically passed away on Thursday, April 16th, leaving his family and the Bell Park Dragons Football and Netball community in deep sorrow. Known for his kindness and dedication, Nathan was an active and cherished member of the club, generously contributing his time to umpire for the U9 mixed and U12 girls teams.
His sudden passing has left his wife, Alina, and their three young children, Rikelle, Brieah, and Nicholas, grappling with an unimaginable loss. Nathan's presence was always felt, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In a heartfelt post on social media, Emma Glynn, who organized a fundraiser to support the Phillips family, shared, "We are reaching out with heavy hearts to support one of our own. Nathan was always there when the club needed him, and now it’s our turn to stand beside his family."
