Reginald Young III, a 21-year-old resident of Aiken, South Carolina, was found unresponsive in a neighbor’s yard on Dallas Circle in the Shiloh Heights neighborhood shortly before 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2026.
Emergency crews tried to help, but officials pronounced Reginald dead at the scene at 6:22 p.m.
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables confirmed that Reginald died from a fatal injury to the body.
The first call led authorities toward the 10 block of Pipeline Road before the response shifted to Dallas Circle.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, the Aiken Department of Public Safety, and supporting units secured the area while officials gathered information and spoke with witnesses.
No arrest has been announced, and officials have not released a motive.
