Reyna Poblano-Flores peacefully passed away on the night of April 9th, 2026, at NYU Lutheran, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in late Summer 2024, Reyna demonstrated remarkable courage and resilience through chemotherapy, numerous surgeries, and countless hospital visits.
Known for her devotion as a wife, her unwavering love as a mother, and her tenderness as a grandmother, she remained hopeful throughout her illness, cherishing every moment with her loved ones.
Friends and family have shared heartfelt messages, with one noting, "She always brought light into every room and inspired everyone around her," while another wrote, "Her strength and love will never be forgotten."
A fundraiser has been established by her family to fulfill Reyna's last wish of being laid to rest in Mexico alongside her parents and to cover remaining medical and funeral expenses in New York and Mexico.
