Santiago Tapia Bello tragically passed away yesterday in South Padre Island at the age of 27, leaving his family and community heartbroken.
While performing work cutting palm trees near Whataburger, Santiago came into contact with an electrical wire and sadly died at the scene.
Known as a hardworking and loving husband and father, Santiago’s sudden passing has deeply affected those who knew him.
His wife, Mileidi Vázquez Anastasio, has reached out for support to transport Santiago back to Mexico so his family can provide a final farewell and lay him to rest in his hometown.
