Tyreik Shaw, Beloved Family Member from Capitol Heights, MD, Passes Away at Age 25
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tyreik Shaw, a cherished individual from Capitol Heights, Maryland, who tragically passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 25. Tyreik's sudden loss has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of family and friends.
Tyreik was predeceased by beloved grandparents, Joseph Shaw and Mary Allen. He is survived by his loving parents, Tyrone Shaw, Sr. and Tonya Allen-Shaw, along with his brother, Tyrone Shaw, Jr. (Jasmine), and a close-knit family including his grandparents, Earlene Shaw and George Allen. He will also be missed by his niece, Leiyani Shaw, uncles, Mark and Michael Shaw, godfather George Allen, Jr. (Stacy), aunt Cassandra Shaw, and godmother Katrice Kelly.
A visitation in Tyreik's honor will be held on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Margaret's of Scotland Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Both services will take place at 410 Addison Rd S, Capitol Heights, MD 20743.
Tyreik’s warm and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. The family appreciates the support and condolences they have received during this incredibly difficult time.
