Alfred Acevedo, 34, Dies After Cinco De Mayo Motorcycle Crash On Ventura Road In Oxnard

Alfred Acevedo, a 34-year-old Oxnard resident, died after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

The crash happened at about 7:48 p.m. on Ventura Road, just north of Stone Creek Drive in Oxnard, California.

Oxnard Police Department officers and Emergency Medical Services responded and found a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the southbound lanes.

Authorities said Acevedo was located on the raised center median near the crash scene with serious injuries.

Acevedo was taken by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center, where medical staff pronounced Acevedo dead shortly after arrival.

Investigators said Acevedo was believed to be traveling northbound when the motorcycle struck the raised curb along the center median, and the cause remains under review.
