Barry Eugene Anthony, 57, Remembered After Single-Vehicle Campbell County Crash On Waterlick Road
Authorities identified Barry Eugene Anthony, 57, of Lynch Station, as the person who died Tuesday morning, May 5, 2026, in a single-vehicle crash in Campbell County, Virginia.
Virginia State Police said troopers responded at approximately 7:52 a.m. to Waterlick Road, about one mile west of Lawyers Road, after receiving reports of a serious crash.
First responders found a 2014 Hyundai Elantra that had left the roadway and overturned.
Authorities said Anthony was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene from crash-related injuries.
Officials reported that Anthony was not wearing a seatbelt, and investigators continue to review roadway conditions and possible speed factors.
