Andrew Alcala passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 34, leaving a profound void in the hearts of family, friends, and the Brownsville community.

Andrew is survived by his mother Patricia Medina, his girlfriend Eva Garcia, his grandparents Isaac Escamilla Jr. and Beverly Alcala, his sister Mandy Escamilla, his stepsister Stephanie Alcala, his niece Alexis Licea, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Daniel E. Alcala and grandparents Fredesvinda O. Escamilla and Baldomero Alcala.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Garza Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
