Bennett Cole Foltz Remembered After Lifelong Heart Condition And Transplant Wait, With Family Support Fund Created For Family
Bennett Cole Foltz, born on January 24, 2024, is being remembered by family after a long journey with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a congenital heart condition that required staged surgeries.
At two years, four months, and two days old, Bennett had completed two of three planned procedures before heart failure led to placement on the transplant list in August 2025.
On February 10, 2026, Bennett received VAD and Berlin device support while awaiting a transplant, which brought a lengthy hospital stay, ongoing care, and serious complications including brain bleeds, e-coli, enterocolitis, and kidney failure.
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, around noon, the family shared that Bennett’s life support would be turned off.
Chasitity Magee organized a memorial fundraiser to support Reagan and Mack with medical costs and end-of-life tributes for their beloved child.
Details regarding memorial services, obituary information, and funeral service arrangements will be announced later by family members.
