The Pasco community is mourning 17-year-old Dallin Persons, who passed away after an e-bike and SUV collision at Road 60 and Burns on May 28, 2026.
Police said the SUV traveled eastbound on Burns and entered the intersection with the right-of-way when the collision occurred.
Investigators believe Dallin’s e-bike entered the intersection at the same time, and authorities noted that Dallin did not wear a helmet.
Emergency responders took Dallin to a nearby hospital, where Dallin later passed away from related injuries.
Traffic investigators closed the intersection for several hours while they reviewed the scene and gathered evidence.
Family, friends, classmates, and neighbors continue to remember Dallin Persons as a young person with a full future ahead.
