Horminey Greenler, 19, Tragically Dies in Car Accident in Seneca County, OH, Leaving a Community in Mourning

Horminey Greenler, a 19-year-old from Bucyrus, OH, tragically lost their life in a devastating car crash on March 26th, 2026, near Tiffin. The accident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m. on State Route 18, took the lives of three young individuals, including Horminey, who was driving the vehicle at the time.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the vehicle lost control, struck a tree, and became partially submerged in a nearby pond. Horminey, along with Madison Yates, 21, and Jonathan Bowling, 22, were all pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth passenger, Alexandria Hickle, 22, was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
