Nick was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild this April, a milestone he will not have the chance to experience. His family, including his son Nick Jr. and daughter Savannah, are now grappling with the profound emotional pain of his loss, as well as the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.
"Words can’t express the sorrow we feel," his daughter Savannah wrote on a fundraising page. "He was our rock, our guide, and always showed love and support, no matter the situation."
