Tanielu Soli Jr., 41, and 12-year-old Jarius Tanielu lost their lives in a devastating two-vehicle collision on April 22, 2026, in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. along NC Highway 87 North near Swallowtail Court, just south of Fayetteville.
Investigators stated that the vehicle driven by Tanielu Soli Jr. veered off the roadway, struck a guardrail, and overturned before colliding head-on with another vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced both Tanielu Soli Jr. and Jarius Tanielu deceased at the scene.
