Zachary Allen Kitzman, 29, of Gibson, IA, Passes Away, Leaving a Legacy of Warmth and Kindness
Zachary Allen Kitzman, aged 29, of Gibson, Iowa, tragically passed away on March 20, 2026. Known for his warmth and kind nature, Zachary leaves behind a profound legacy that will resonate with all who knew him.
Born on August 22, 1996, Zachary’s life was marked by the love and support of his family. He is survived by his mother, Denise Kitzman; siblings, Hazel Rabe (Colton) and Cayle Kitzman; and his nieces and nephews, Grady, Maisie, and Jovie Rabe. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Diane Kitzman, and Donna and Allen Jordan, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members who will miss him dearly.
The loss has been felt deeply in the community, and many have shared their condolences. A heartfelt message from a family member read, "Zachary was a shining light, always caring and thoughtful. His presence will be missed every day."
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer, IA. A funeral service will follow on Friday at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Zachary’s siblings, Hazel and Cayle, to help with funeral expenses and provide support during this challenging time.
