Zachary James Barras, 25, Of Saint Martinville, Louisiana, Remembered With Services Set For May 18, 2026
Zachary James Barras, of Saint Martinville, Louisiana, passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 25.
Zachary was born on January 22, 2001, and leaves family and friends with lasting memories of a life held close by many.
Zachary was preceded in passing by Elizabeth "Liz" Robin Barras, Blake Comeaux, Wiley, Shirley Robin, Floyd, and Theresa Barras.
Loved ones named in remembrance include Dale Barras, Sr., Joannie Comeaux, Austin Comeaux, Paul Robin, Dale Barras, Jr., Erica Barras, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Barras, Mia Foti, Adalyn Barras, Megan Tate, Amanda Sonnier, Hannah Comeaux, Avery Comeaux, Huval, Denver Barras, and Eloise Barras.
Visitation will take place Monday, May 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Dion Hall, 4452 Catahoula Hwy, St Martinville, LA 70582.
A rosary will take place at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM at St. Rita Catholic Church, 1006 St Rita Hwy, St Martinville, LA 70582.
Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery under the care of Pellerin Funeral Home.
