Breianna Albee Remembered After May 28 House Fire In Glencoe Leads To Fulton County Investigation And Community Mourning
Breianna Albee, 33, died on May 28, 2026, after emergency crews responded to a burning home in the 500 block of Vista Oak Trail in the Glencoe area of Fulton County.
A 911 caller reported that someone was trapped inside, and multiple fire departments joined Fulton County Sheriff’s Office deputies at the scene.
After crews brought the flames under control, firefighters found Albee inside the residence, and officials pronounced Albee deceased at the scene.
Sheriff Jake Smith said investigators found head-area injuries that raised concern, and authorities began reviewing both the cause of the fire and the events before it began.
Officials said 40-year-old Daniel Milde was taken into custody on an investigative hold while warrants were being prepared in connection with a first-degree homicide count, arson, and abuse of a corpse.
Loved ones remembered Albee for kindness, warmth, compassion, and the comfort Albee brought to family, friends, and neighbors.
